Cookies

Similar to other commercial websites, our website utilizes a standard technology called “Cookies” and web server logs to collect information about how our website is used.  A cookie is a very small text document, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier.  When you visit a website, that site’s computer asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designated for cookies.  Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if you browser’s preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only allows a website to access the cookies it has sent to you.  Your browser prevents that site from accessing cookies from other sites. When you log onto and browse our website, our website server automatically receives and records information on our website server logs from your browser, which may include your IP address, cookie, page(s) viewed, the date and time of visits, and time spent on our website.  We do not link any information we store in “cookies” to any personal identifiable information whatsoever.

BestBequest.com uses cookies to differentiate you from other users and to improve your user experience.  In addition, cookies, in conjunction with our server’s log files, allow us to calculate the aggregate number of people that visit our site, and which part of our website draws the most visits.  This helps us analyze trends in order to improve our website and better serve our customers.

In order to ensure security and protection of collected information, all employees are aware of our security policy and practices. Web security is constantly reviewed. BestBequest has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We encrypt your contact information and financial information as it travels over the Internet and we store your financial information on our secure servers. Access to the information is limited and only obtained through usernames and passwords. Any loss, misuse, or alteration of information is prohibited followed by appropriate action and termination of employee. Your information may be transferred to and maintained in whole or in part on computer networks which may be located outside of the state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction in which you reside, and may be stored on equipment or in facilities leased or licensed from third parties. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information and make all commercially reasonable efforts to do so, BestBequest cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. However, once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.
